Racial Profiling and WW2

This image shows three Japanese-Americans at their shack in a Japanese Internment camp.
Racial profiling is the classification of people by their race. Racial profiling is okay in some circumstances. It is okay if we are at war with a country. Racial profiling is not okay when our country is not at war with another country. The United States used racial profiling against the people of Iran and Iraq when it was believed that those two countries worked together in order to destroy the World Trade Center. Many people get really mad when the government or any other person uses racial profiling against them. The United States government really used racial profiling during World War 2. After the Japanese bombed Pearl Harbor, the United States government sent Japanese-Americans to these Internment camps in the Western United States. The only reason that these Japanese-Americans were sent away to these Internment camps is because they were Japanese. They should not have punished the innocent people. They should have only punished the Japanese military for bombing Pearl Harbor in 1941. In some instances, racial profiling is fair. In some, it is not. I really do not think that the United States government should be using racial profiling. It is making people that racial profiling is being used against very mad. I think that the United States really should quit using racial profiling from now on. It is making other nations mad at us. If the U.S. government continues to use racial profiling, we might be at war with nations besides Iraq. Racial profiling is very bad in most circumstances.

I agree with you totally. It was wrong to imprison the Japanese for something that they didn't even do. The same thing is going on right now in the middle east. The Afghans are getting persecuted just because of the things that other bad Afghans did. I hope that someday things will change. UBER!

Governments back in WW2 were just plain wrong to do what they did. Unfortunately, it has not ended yet. Racial Profiling still happens today. Show your support for civil rights with a I am not a racial profile t-shirt.
